I love pastels! Pastels produce amazing colors and you can just dive right in without needing more tools like paintbrushes, solvents or a palette. When you have some pastel sticks, a sheet of paper, and your fingers, you’re ready to go. The fact is pastels have been around since the 16th century and have been used by some of the world’s most famous artists. And .. and best part is pastels allow you to have rich color so fast.
Of course just like everything else, it has one or two flaws, in this case, soft and hard pastels is that colors cannot be readily pre mixed as with oil, water color, acrylic and other liquid paints.
